The Tennessee Electronic Library (TEL) is a collection of 33 databases that provide access to over 400,000 magazines, newspapers, essays, podcasts, videos, e-books, primary source materials, and more! TEL is available free of charge to Tennessee residents and is accessible 24/7 from any computer with access to the internet.


OPAC-(Reserve/Renew iItems)
The Giles County Library's On-line Public Access Catalog (OPAC) site allows you to search our catalog and access your account. Once your account is active, you should be able to see checked-out items, renew items, and reserve items.


To set up an OPAC Account

*User name = GCPL card number (barcode on the back of the card)

*Default password is "userpass"

You will be prompted to change your password the first time you log in.
